Each of Plato’s solids was associated with one of the elements. For Aristotle, the fifth solid, the dodecahedron, was associated with ether, the fifth element, the quintessence. In ancient times, ether was the invisible substance in which all things were immersed.
At the Heart of the Mystery of the Dodecahedrons
To date, about a hundred Roman dodecahedrons dating from the Gallo-Roman period have been discovered, mainly in Northern Europe. For a long time, nothing was known about their function, and hypotheses multiplied to no avail. Until NeoConsortium’s Conservatory of Dynamic Archives finally found the key to this enigma. In the ancient treatise “Ancient and Mystical Mystery of the Ether,” which is in its possession, a forgotten method of producing Moduloform is described.
Every intoxication produces a Moduloform in the ether. This truth was already well known in antiquity. During the Bacchanalia, initiates would walk among the intoxicated crowds to collect their etheric Moduloforms. This operation required the use of a Roman dodecahedron that slowly transformed until it conformed to the structure of the Moduloform. To be handled, it was then fitted with a handle to prevent the user from placing their hands directly into the ether.Augustine Julien, Conservatory of Dynamic Archives
A remarkable discovery brings the investigation to a close
In 1989, a carved handle depicting a centaur—whose decoration evokes the procession of Bacchus—was discovered during excavations in Toulouse. Researchers from NeoConsortium immediately recognized it as the handle of an ancient Moduloform, described in great detail in *Antic Mystery and mystic ether* .
After years of research and thanks to 21st-century technology, NeoConsortium’s Conservatory of Dynamic Archives is finally able to present a replica of an etheric Moduloform created during a night of revelry in the Roman city of Tolosa in the 2nd century AD.
